My friend Ethan picked up a 1967 Yamaha YCS1 from an auction at Bent Bike in 1996. It wasn't working well, so he put it in storage. After I nagged long and hard about wanting a project bike, Ethan decided to pull it out and let me help him make it go vroom. We retrieved it on March 30 2002.
The first thing we decided to do was look over the bike for things
that immediately needed attention. Here
are the impressions. Below are some pics from the first night we got her
